We remember first of all, the man Ronald Reagan
(1911-2004).
During all the decades of his life, he walked the narrow
and straight road. And this road took him into the office of
the 40th President of the United States (1981-1989).
We remember Ronald Reagan, who was at the height of his
career a courageous defender of human rights, freedom and
peace.
He significantly influenced the ending of the Cold War
and many other global threatening situations. Together with
his wife Nancy Reagan, he lived a life according to
religious and moral rules. Thus he lived on the foundations
of the Western-Christian culture. At the same time, he
appreciated not only the Antiquity, but also all the high
cultures of humanity, which have contributed to the
advancement of the human society.
This loyal remembrance of Ronald Reagan is also expressed
in his portrait bust, created by the sculptor Kurt Arentz,
which is on public display in the Alexander Garden of the
Museum of European Art in Clarence, New York. An additional
portrait of the President and Knight Ronald' is at the
Order's residence at the Noervenich Castle in Germany, as
well as in the Presidential Collection.
THANK YOU, RONALD REAGAN
