The AUTUMN 2005 at exhibitionof the Museum of European Art will continue our internationalinitiative to showcase works of talented, original and ambitiousartists together with the works of prominent European artists of ourtime.
The exhibition will open onSunday, OCTOBER 2, 2005 from 1 &endash; 4 p.m., and will continuethrough November 25, 2005.
About half of the artists inthis exhibition will be from the Buffalo area. The rest will be fromCanada, Europe, and other parts of the world.
Artists who are accepted canshow from TWO or THREE of their works of art.Only originalworks--paintings, graphic works, mixed media, sculptures andphotographs will be considered.
Deadline for application isAugust 31, 2005.
1) Applicants should be talented, original, andserious-minded artists, who have a desire to publicize their artthrough cooperation with the Museum of European Art and the JournalPROMETHEUS.
2) Exhibition fees: Paintings and photographs, $45 each.
Sculptures, $ 45 each.
3) All artwork must be accompanied by a labelcontaining: artist's name, nationality, date of birth, title of thework, media, year of completion and price.
4) All artwork must be ready to hang (wire orstring) and be delivered to the museum by September 15, 2005, byappointment.
5) Each artist will receive 50 invitationpost-cards and is expected to bring at least 15-20 guests to theopening, if they live in the Buffalo area.
6) The Museum of European Art will receive acommission of 33% if a work of art is sold, either by the artist orby the Museum during the exhibition. We will NOT be responsible forany possible damage or loss of your works.
