Madrid/Noervenich (bpb) The visit of the Spanish heir Felipe, Prince of Asturias, at the Bodenstein Castle Noervenich (Germany) reminds of an important cultural event in the European Union, which took place in the presence of the German Minister for Foreign Affairs Hans-Dietrich Genscher. The Prince came to the Grand Opening of the exhibition "Salvador Dalí--His Life and Art". To this unique collection belongs the greatest bronze bust of Dalí, created by his friend Arno Breker.

The plaque has following inscription:

H.R.H. FELIPE PRINCE OF ASTURIAS--THE CROWN PRINCE OF SPAIN

H.H.E. JOHN G. BODENSTEIN--LORD OF NOERVENICH CASTLE

TO COMMEMORATE THE VISIT TO THE HOUSE OF BODENSTEIN CASTLE

AND THE INAUGURATION OF THE ROYAL SALVADOR DALÍ COLLECTION

DEDICATED TO FREEDOM IN ART

FELIPE JOHN

XXI. VI. A.D MCMXCI

The visit of Prince Felipe brought to mind old relations. His grandfather, the late King Paul II. of the Hellenes, is a Patron of the international Alexander Order for Art and Science. In Europe, the Order uses the Bodenstein Castle Noervenich for meetings and art events
