RE:Societal preparedness for catastrophic climate change
The war in Iraq was a dress rehearsal. We learneda lot. Now is the time to begin preparing for the real show, The BigShow. Are we up to the challenge?
You have read Andrew's (Marshall) exec sum aboutthe catastrophic climate change that may be just around the corner,perhaps in less than two decades. Just a few quotes:
"Disruption and conflict will be endemic featuresof life … Once again, warfare would define human life."
"Deaths from war and famine run into themillions."
"Access to water becomes a major battleground."
We have the best military in the world; we nowcontrol the Euphrates in Iraq, the main water source in the oilproducing area. Of course we control the oil, too. Regarding domesticwater, we have Canada's ample resources for the taking. We can rollthrough in a Blitzkrieg, the way Rommel crossed into France throughthe Ardennes. We foresee Anschluss within 48 hours.
As with the war in Iraq, our weakest spot is longterm management of public opinion. It isn't enough to say, "you'reeither with us or against us." We must be able to punish every singleperson who's trying to interfere with our plans. Luckily, theforeseen environmental catastrophe will facilitate the implementationof a scheme that will maximize management of non-cooperatingelements.
We recommend creating a national and globaldatabase of people, classified and color coded. Such a database willbe absolutely necessary in order to achieve deep dominance of theworld after the onset of the catastrophe and the temporary collapseof the market economy.
Magnetic, color coded identity cards, like theones used by Israel in the Occupied Territories, should be printedand stored in distribution centers. A small percentage should behanded out immediately to trustworthy people, together with lists.
We recommend the followingcolor scheme:
Blue- The leadership of America, plus a few select foreigners --politicians, industry leaders, financiers, etc. No difficulty here.We will classify as blue most people with a yearly income above$200,000, as well as key government officers and defenseintellectuals. We only need to weed out a few rotten apples, likeGeorge Soros. When time arrives, blue cardholders will be gathered ina few secure, undisclosed locations. A predetermined select group(red ribbon on blue), chosen by the Pentagon, will take charge fromits location in a yet to be specified command and control center.
Brown- This category is for young and healthy men and women ready formilitary and police service. A select group (red ribbon on brown)will be assigned to guard the "undisclosed locations." The rest willpolice the population and put down the anticipated food and waterriots.
Green- Green cards will be given to regular people who can do useful work:farm workers, factory workers, domestic workers, engineers, medicalpersonnel, etc. Unfortunately, as Andrew points out, only a portionof humanity will be sustainable; even a large percentage of Americanswill have to be left out. But we must not run from the tragic rolehistory has thrust upon us. We need to prepare for fierce competitionover green cards. People will fight to the death, since having agreen card will become a life and death issue. We must be gratefulthat reality shows like "Survivor" and "The Apprentice" are gettingpeople used to having the appropriate attitude. We need more of theseshows. Proper consciousness training will make it easier for thelosers to accept their fate and die unobtrusively.
Pink- Once the tragedy is over, we will need to recreate the human race.To speed up the regeneration process, pink-coded identity cards willbe issued to young and attractive women from all over the world,selected for breeding. Reality shows like "Who wants to Marry aMillionaire" are a godsend educational tool. We must use themsmartly.
Red- Red identity cards will be issued to subversive elements,independent-minded journalists, labor organizers, Muslims, etc. Theyshould be rounded up and detained at the earliest possible moment. Wewon't have time to make inquiries. The slightest suspicion should beenough. We must be absolutely sure that no subversive remains atlarge or receives any other color identity. Hopefully, once we're onthe other side of this catastrophe, the human gene pool will becleansed of this trouble-making personality trait.
The rest of the population will not need anidentity card, since they are not expected to survive long.
At the beginning of the catastrophe, thegovernment will be facing a serious obstacle. Public opinion willlag, veering toward the sentimental. People will refuse to accept thenecessities imposed by the new reality. To defuse criticism, werecommend a number of preemptive "affirmative action" policies thatwill give the color coded scheme a humane and compassionate face.
In calculating eligibility for the Blue identitycard, members of minority groups will be considered from a lowerminimum income of $150,000 a year. (This will not have numericalsignificance.) In calculating eligibility for Green and Brown Cards,a small number of preferential points should be given to minoritiesand descendants of Holocaust survivors. A significant portion, up to50%, of Pink cards should go to young women from "exotic" countries. The program should be directed and presented to the public by aproper minority-identified icon, for example, an African-Americanwoman.
Another benefit of incorporating these policiesinto the color scheme is that it will deflect the rage of the peopleleft to die onto minorities and women, and away from rich, white,well-connected men, whose greed, let's admit it, is the root cause ofearth's coming collapse.
