Thorak got a divorce from his Jewish wife at thebeginning of the National Socialist times in Germany, as is alsomentioned in Leni Riefenstahl's memoires . She emigrated fromGermany. The Josef Thorak Archives would like to posthumously honorthis first wife of the sculptor.
