Dear Kin in
Yoga,
I have written you
about the "Swami Rama Dhyana Gurukulam--Swami Rama Institute
of Meditation".
My last dream
for this life is to leave behind some well trained teachers
who will teach for the next 30-40
years. They
will have access to the language, texts, vast traditions and
meditative systems. Please
(1) Select some, even
one or two, likely candidates from among your students and
members to come study for 3 to 5 years under the guru-kula
discipline. On this I have written you
separately.
(2) Please speak to
your members who have families. Ask them to send me their
children for minimum 2 years, after they have completed the
first 12 years of schooling.
I will send these
back, washed clean of contemporary pollution and filled with
Essences, to serve your communities for many years and
decades. Do not be scared.
I will not
make them into swamis but good citizens who bring
spirituality to many through their own successful daily
life.
The 'West' (that is,
modern Urban-industrial society from California to Calcutta)
needs spiritual
leaders
and
guides
steeped in a deep tradition. No amount of 'protests' will
stop wars; only spiritually rinsed minds can accomplish
that. Please help fill that need.
