CUCUMBER RAITA

 

An excellent side dish that helps cool down a fiery curry.

 

1 cup plain yogurt

1/2 cup cucumber, peeled and finely chopped

salt and pepper

1/8 tsp cumin powder

1/2 tsp sugar

a pinch of paprika

1 tsp cilantro leaves

 

Whisk the yogurt. Add a little water if desired.

Add the cucumber, salt, pepper, cumin powder and sugar. Mix well.

Put Into a serving bowl and garnish with paprika and cilantro leaves.
