The artist depicts the enlightenment by using the image of both a window and a passageway. The angel is facing the poet (just like the viewer). The poet walks toward us. The concert at the Brühl Castle on the occasion of the organization's 35th anniversary was, at the same time, a way to honor its founder, the former German First Lady, Dr. Mildred Scheel. The musicians of the Capella Augustina with its conductor Andreas Spering performed on the magnificent staircase inside the Augustusburg Castle in Brühl (Germany). In the past, the former German President Walter Scheel and his First Lady Mildred Scheel stood often in this spot, in order to greet the visiting crowned and uncrowned heads of state.
