A more pleasant state visitor than the Turk Erdogan: The German Chancellor Angela Merkel ereceives after Erdogan's departure the Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert in the Chancellery in Berlin. The talks had a better atmosphere. Just like the US government, also the German government leader promised Israel help in resolving the Middle-East conflict. Germany supports the efforts for a two-state solution, said Merkel after a meeting with Olmert.
